I have just returned from a trip to Dublin, where the UKTI took a group of UK designers for a showcase in the British ambassador’s residence.
It was a beautiful house, and the jewellery looked right at home there.
Up stairs there was an exhibition of the Queens dresses. Would she ever wear a snake ring with an evening gown? Maybe not, it would be pretty rocking if she did!
Emma from Alex Monroe was also there. We enjoyed the many cakes that were produced throughout the afternoon.
I discovered some lovely little clothing boutiques. Doll’s is located just out of town with a little café next door called Bibi, both are run by sisters. Bibi was lovely, the interior was so homely and the food was delicious.
Loulerie is the best jewellery shop in town, they have a great selection on American designs and in August they will also be stocking Zoe and Morgan.
